The Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church is celebrating 71 years of ministry in Hamilton, Ohio (1938-2007). The church was organized on July 9, 1938 as the First United Baptist Church of Hamilton, Ohio, under the authority of the New Salem Baptist Church of London, Kentucky. Buckner Bowling was the first pastor. The church later moved to 414 South Eleventh Street, and became the Eleventh Street Baptist Church. The church purchased property on Wrenwood Drive, and built the present sanctuary and two-story educational building in 1965. The church then became the Twinbrook Hills Baptist Church. In 1976, the gymnasium and additional classrooms were built.

Pastor Emeritus Dr. I. D. Riddick, and his wife Nina served here faithfully from 1963 to 1983. The church grew spiritually, numerically, and financially. The Christian school was founded in the early 1970's. All of the present buildings were completed under Dr. Riddick's leadership. Dr. Riddick passed away Sept. 17, 2009.

Our present Pastor, Dennis Riddick, and his wife DeRonna, have served on the staff for over 33 years. While ministering to the saints here, Pastor Riddick is also in much demand nationally as an evangelist and revival speaker. Mrs. Riddick is the church pianist, adult ladies Sunday School teacher, and teaches in the Christian school. The Lord has richly blessed the church for the past 71 years. The church, school and college continue to be blessings to the church family and this community. God has provided the finest of facilities, vehicles, equipment, and furnishings. However, the church is not a building or equipment. The church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a called-out body of believers that are scripturally baptized and covenanted together to carry out the Great Commission given to the church in Matthew 28:18-20. All of us are blessed to be saved, to be members of the Lord's church, and to be recipients of God's abundant blessings.
